PURPOSe

To house the poor, elderly, abandoned, sick and homeless people in Kerala State, India.
To house low income and middle-class elderly and sick people who do not have any family member to take care of them.
A clinic to give medical care for the residents and the poor people living in the surrounding areas, with a resident nun doctor and supporting staff.

* A convent to house the nuns who will be serving the residents.
* Office and residence for a priest chaplain who will give 24/7 service.
* A chapel to meet the spiritual needs.
* Staff quarters

Location
​
It is at a prime location in the rural area of Kerala State, at Cheenikuzhi, in Idukki District, India. It is 16 kilometers (10 miles) from the nearest town, Thodupuzha.

Local support
We are reaching out to the local parishes and parishioners for all kinds of support they can give, during and after construction. We expect people from the locality to volunteer in caring for the residents, as needed.

Needed Fund
The estimated cost of the building is 1.1 million dollars. This is the cost for the first stage of the project.
In the second stage, if and when possible an additional building to house more homeless people is under consideration. It will need extra land to be purchased, and additional funds for the running of that facility too.

Donors

* If any person/family/ministry/organization/parish contribute more than $500.00, their names (and their intentions) will be placed on the appropriate plaque at a visible location.
* A Holy Mass will be offered annually for the specific intentions of the donor for 25 years for anyone contributing a minimum of $3000 (in addition to putting the name on the plaque).
* On Benefactors’ Appreciation Day, a Mass will be offered for all the benefactors
* Sponsorship of rooms for various purposes and the chapel are also welcome. A photo of the donor/s with their names and intention will be displayed in a visible area to honor their intentions.
*A plaque with the name of the donors and their intensions will be placed a visible location.

T V Sets, furniture (like tables, chairs), mattresses, bedsheets, appliances for kitchen

Any kitchen supplies such as: plates, cups, glasses; dish washer etc.

For the above said items the ASMI Religious Order will make the purchases that are fitting to the institution after getting money from the donors.
You may be able to support by donating $10, $100, $1000, $10000 or even bigger amount in accordance with what you can afford.
