Updates on San Jose Home

My Dear Friends,

I am happy to give an update about the progress of the San Jose Home building constructions. After purchasing enough land for the widening of the road, it is sufficiently widened now. Because the current road is wide enough we became eligible for the building with more square feet. The revised plan for the building is around 18,000 square feet. The first floor contains reception, office, kitchen, dining hall, clinic area and some rooms for the non paying section. Second floor consists of the convent, chaplains rooms, chapel, and more rooms for the non paying people. This floor is mainly meant for the paid section.

Concreting of the third floor roof was completed just before Christmas. Construction of the walls, painting works, wiring etc. are on the way. A lot of things are to be done including flooring, furnishing, buying household articles and utensils, purchasing elevator, waste water management things, fixing solar panels (which is mandatory), purchasing a high capacity washing machine, buying a vehicle, finishing with the construction of the road inside the compond etc.

I am attaching some pictures of the final works for concreting, and the current status of the structure of the building. I request you to keep our project in your continued thoughts and prayers. We need a lot of financial support in this stage of construction.

Wishing you a Blessed New year,

Fr. Joseph
